An invitation-only society
An invitation-only dining society for senior leaders, founders, and operators across the United Kingdom. Thirty seats, one table, one speaker on the record.

What we are
The League is an invitation-only dining society for senior leaders, founders, and operators across the United Kingdom. Thirty seats per dinner, one speaker on the record, one table.
There is no membership fee. Members pay only for the dinners they choose to attend. The table is curated by character and achievement, not status or wealth.
Each gathering is held to a single rule: thirty people round one table, one speaker telling their story on the record, and a room that stays in the room.
What defines us
The League is built on four pillars that shape every gathering. Together, they create an evening unlike any other.
A room of mutual respect and deep curiosity. No egos, no hierarchies. Just senior people sharing their worlds.
Distinguished guest speakers sharing cutting-edge insight and lived experience. Every gathering is a masterclass.
High-calibre individuals creating collaboration, mentorship, and mutual growth opportunities that last a lifetime.
We recognise those who stood up for principles, endured hardship, built ventures, or led others with integrity.
Who belongs
We do not measure worth by wealth, title, or fame. We look for character, story, and achievement. If any of these sound like you, you might just belong at the table.
Entrepreneurs, founders, and creators who have built something from nothing. You know the cost of bringing an idea into the world and keeping it alive.
Those who have led teams, organisations, or movements with integrity and courage. You understand that leadership is service, clarity, and the willingness to call the hard call.
People who defied convention, took bold risks, and achieved what others said was impossible. You forge paths where none existed and open doors for those who follow.
Common questions
The questions that arrive most often when someone is thinking about applying to The League, or about whether a dinner is for them.
The League is an invitation-only dining society in the United Kingdom. The format is fixed: thirty seats, one table, one speaker on the record, a two-course dinner. There is no membership fee. Members pay only for the dinners they choose to attend. The current home venue is Eslington Villa in Low Fell, Gateshead.
The League is invitation-only. Members are nominated by existing members or by people who already know our work. You can also request an invitation through the Join page, but we curate carefully and not every request will receive one. We look for character, story, and achievement, not status or wealth.
No. There is no annual fee, joining fee, or subscription. Members pay only for the dinners they choose to attend. This keeps the experience purely about the table, never about the transaction.
The current per-seat price is GBP 45. That covers the two-course menu and the evening. Drinks are at the table's choice. Prices are confirmed at the point of ticket purchase via Stripe.
We currently host dinners at Eslington Villa, Low Fell, Gateshead. We are actively expanding to other cities across the United Kingdom, with new venues being announced through the year. Each gathering takes place at a venue chosen for character and intimacy.
Monthly. Each gathering features a different guest speaker. Thirty seats per dinner, one table, one evening. Members attend only the dinners that interest them.
Arrival is 18:30 for a 19:00 dinner. A two-course meal is shared at one long table. Conversation flows around the room before the guest speaker shares their story. Evenings typically end around 22:00, though many continue informally beyond that.
Each member is invited individually, but if you wish to bring someone you believe belongs at the table, write to us. We will consider every guest on the same basis as every member: character, story, and achievement.
We are expanding across the UK. If you would like The League to host in your city, write to us. New venues are added based on member demand and the calibre of the people in each region.
Submit your story through the Become a Speaker page. We look for speakers whose lived experience embodies courage, adaptability, resilience, resourcefulness, or endurance. Polished motivational speakers are not our format. We want the real story.
No. The League is a dinner society, not a networking organisation. There is no pitching, no name-badge wearing, no business-card swap at the door. Members come for the conversation and the speaker. Anything that follows happens organically.
No. The room stays in the room. There is no livestream, no podcast cut, no broadcast. This is by design: speakers tell their story on the record at the table, not for a camera. Some speakers may share excerpts on their own channels afterwards, but the dinner itself is unrecorded.
A private members' club is a place. The League is a format. There is no clubhouse, no annual fee, no door staff. We meet once a month at a chosen venue and the evening ends when the table is ready to end. Membership grants you the invitation; you decide which evenings to attend.
You may request a full refund up to seven days before the dinner. Within seven days of the evening we are typically unable to refund because the venue, catering, and speaker arrangements are already committed. Exceptional circumstances are looked at case by case.
No. The League is a distinct society. We do not have a formal affiliation with Founders League, Founder Mode dinners, or any of the named founder communities that have launched in recent years. We are based in the North East of England and curate our table independently.
The next table
We are not for everyone, and that is by design. If you have built something worth building, led with courage, or defied the odds, we want to hear from you.
